BMS World Mission

Emma & Glyn

Emma and Glyn come from Battle in East Sussex. In Battle they were involved with youth work. They have previously worked overseas in Thailand, Romania, Nigeria and Manila, in the Philippines, where they were involved in development work with women in prostitution.

They are now working in Tunisia with a BMS partner organisation. Whilst continuing their Arabic studies, they have begun working two days a week with their projects. The first project is a unit for abandoned babies where they are working alongside the staff and directors to develop the unit. The second project is a large centre which helps young people and single mothers with particular problems such as solvent abuse.

Sam and Carys both attend local school and Sam has taken up karate and computers in Arabic.

Glyn enjoys music, food and walking, Emma likes sport, horses and art, and they both enjoy socialising.
