Deb and Dug Benn

Deb and Dug are members of Romford Baptist Church in Havering - where London meets Essex. They have been married 29 years and have two sons: Joe, married to Laura, and Josh, engaged to Rosie (they will marry just before Deb and Dug go overseas). Part of Deb and Dug's call to work for BMS came from the witness of Josh who was on an Action Team to Ecuador in 2006/07.

 
Dug and Deb are currently at IMC training for long-term mission, this will probably be to Uganda. Dug has worked with the NHS for 25 years as a therapy radiographer and Deb was a childcare inspector for 17 years, most recently with Ofsted. They have been involved in a wide range of ministries - youth work, Sunday school, worship leading, audio-visual, diaconate, safeguarding, small groups, hospitality, family support and toddler groups. Although their role overseas is yet to be defined, they are excited at the prospect of serving God and working for BMS as a couple.
