We have our own training centre in Birmingham -
International Mission Centre.
We provide one week of residential training free of charge for all short-term volunteers.
These take place three times a year in March/April, July and November. You'll have time to think about crossing cultures, language learning, development issues, theology of mission as well as praying, worshipping and sharing together with other volunteers. Nothing can fully prepare you for what God might do in and through you during your volunteer placement but the time at IMC will be a great help.
