This trip has been personally enriching, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be involved, even in a small way in overseas mission. It has helped highlight world mission in the church, and the team members are all full of enthusiasm for mission and to continue serving God in their situations. Some are beginning to think through longer term ways of serving God.
I would hope that Leigh Road will continue to have a heart for mission, will continue to be involved in the church team programme and will continue to encourage individuals to be open to God’s call to serve him at home and abroad.
I was inspired and encouraged by the Christians I met in Kolkata who are seeking to put faith into practice and make a difference in a city and country of such need.
